Reviews

Not worth it

"I gave Jade Leaf a try after seeing great reviews and am so disappointed. In their photos, the matcha is vibrant green. The matcha I received was pale yellow-green, not the same at all. The taste is muddy and acrid, not pleasant at all. So sad. I used to look forward to my daily matcha, and this is not something to look forward to. I hate the idea of wasting it, but I’m considering just tossing it and buying a higher quality brand."

Perfect gift for our Matcha Girl!

"This was for a birthday gift and boy was it received with excitement. Our daughter loves her matcha and says the quality and taste is outstanding!"

Hope K. (5/5)

Really bad matcha and customer service

"I purchased a pound of the barista ceremonial that is supposed to be higher quality than the one I usually drink. It is far lower quality. I can hardly stomach it. I keep trying to contact the company about it and they will not respond! It seems the quality of matcha is not good and neither is their customer service. I can not recommend anything about this company, unfortunately."

"Soooo yummy. Such great quality for the price. Im gonna be a regular customer for sure. Thankfully found Jade Leaf bc i feel like other brands are soooooo pricey"

Chezalyn (5/5)

Ripoff

"This product is advertised as being the equivalent to the teahouse edition: same price, both labeled “ceremonial”, etc. However this one is a much duller color, tastes worse, and doesn’t blend properly (and I’m using the Jade Leaf frother as instructed). Customer service has ghosted me for over a week now. SAVE YOUR MONEY"

Jin H. (1/5)

not recieved

"Highly advise against ordering from their website because they will mark your order as delivered yet never send it. Customer service is hard to access. Pay the extra few bucks and get it from Amazon."

Aya K. (1/5)

Save your money

"Honestly I had really high hopes about this brand. But unfortunately that matcha was not even a right color and the flavor was not what ceremonial matcha suppose to taste like."

Olga L. (1/5)

Amazing

"Jade Leaf Matcha has honestly become a staple for me. The quality is incredible—smooth, vibrant, and so easy to work with. It has that authentic, earthy matcha flavor without being overly bitter, and the texture blends beautifully whether you’re making a traditional tea, latte, or even adding it into recipes. What I love most is how versatile it is. You can keep it simple and calming, or dress it up into something more indulgent. Every cup feels refreshing and clean, with a naturally uplifting energy that doesn’t come with a crash. Definitely one of those products that feels both high-quality and enjoyable to use daily."

Q&A

Please explain the difference in organic ceremonial matcha tea house edition and organic ceremonial matcha barista edition.
Hi Dixie, Great question! Both are high-quality ceremonial-grade matcha powders, but they’re made for different uses: Teahouse Edition -Best for sipping as a traditional matcha tea—hot or iced. -Has a naturally sweet, smooth taste with a light, nutty finish and very little bitterness. -Perfect if you enjoy matcha straight, without milk or sweeteners. Barista Edition -Specially made for matcha lattes and blended drinks. -Slightly bolder and stronger flavor that pairs well with milk and sweeteners. -Ideal for anyone who loves a creamy iced matcha or warm latte. Hope that helps! - The Jade Leaf Team

1/Is this the ceremonial 1st harvest matcha (highest grade) 2/ can I put Stevia in and reward to hot in the microwave without affecting the health benefits of the matcha? So I need to keep the can or package in the frig? Love your Matcha!
Hi Sandy! Thanks for the Jade Leaf love! Yes, this is our ceremonial- grade matcha. You can definitely add stevia to it, if you like. We would not recommend microwaving your matcha tea directly, but if you do choose to use a microwave, only heat the water for about a minute to a minute and a half, and then whisk in your matcha. Be careful not to overheat the water as this can cause the matcha to become bitter tasting. Storing your matcha in the fridge will keep it fresher for longer.
How long does the bulk amount last? What is the expiration for it?
Hi Deb, we guarantee approx 730 days. Thank you!
is this blend sweetened?
No, the only ingredients are 100% Organic Japanese Matcha. Thanks!
