Before I bought this electric whisk I was using a standard mini wire whisk for my matcha. There was very little froth and there were always sad clumps of undissolved matcha powder at the bottom of my cup. (And before you ask, yes, I strained the powder on the way into the cup.) Now I have froth, lots of it. Even better, those clumps are gone. Sure, there is still a bit of undissolved powder at the bottom, but without the clumps, a little swirl of the cup mixes the powder, avoiding that last mouthful of chalkiness. Mornings have been transformed from simply good to downright ecstatic. Can a cup of properly whisked matcha do that? You're on the Jade Leaf Matcha site so you already know the answer to that question. It would be even better if this handy little device came with a case for travel, but it's not shown with one, so I can't ding JLM for that. If this is still running in five years, then it deserves every one of those five stars. If not, I'll come back and downgrade the rating...but I get the feeling that won't be necessary.
