Mizudashi (Cold Brew) Matcha + Green Tea

Jules Reyes

Mizudashi (水出し) translating to “cold brewing” in Japanese is a preparation method to brew your tea with cold water. The cooler water temperature draws out the natural sweetness and umami notes present in tea. Quench your thirst with this refreshing recipe featuring our new Matcha + Green Tea Bags that are available in two flavors: Traditional and Toasted Rice.

STEP 1

Add sachet to a cup or bottle. Note: if you prefer a stronger flavor, we recommend adding 1-2 more sachets into your bottle.

STEP 2

Add 12 ounces of cold water, then stir or shake.

STEP 3

Steep for 10 minutes or overnight.

STEP 4

Get the most out of each tea sachet! Refill up to 2 more times for a second and third infusion. Each infusion will gradually become lighter in flavor.
