So last week's matcha + coconut water was just the beginning of all sorts of delicious and refreshing matcha cold-brew combos. And low and behold just a day or two later Starbucks announced they're serving another one of our favorites: Matcha Lemonade!
We hear their's pretty tasty...but why overpay when you can make an even better quality one...sweetened to your own tastes!
- 8-12 oz (1 to 1½ cups) lemonade
- 1 tsp matcha (culinary or ceremonial)
- Add ingredients to a shaker bottle (add the lemonade first, then the matcha to avoid any sticking to the bottom) and shake vigorously until well mixed.
- Pour over ice. Optionally garnish with lemons or mint leaves if you're feeling fancy. Enjoy!
And if you want to get really chef-y, try making your own lemonade with fresh lemons!
