It's safe to say that everybody is obsessed with Crumbl cookies - we don't blame them! A chewy and dense cookie topped with creamy flavorful frosting is hard to beat. It's no wonder we got inspired to create our own!
Ingredients:
Cookie
- 1 cup saled butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1sp vanilla
- ½ tsp almond
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp Matcha Powder
Frosting
- 1 stick salted butter
- 8oz cream cheese
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- Matcha or Matcha Latte Mix (1 - 3 tsps or to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350
- Blend the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
- Add in the eggs one at a time and then the vanilla and almond extract.
- Once those are combined add in the flour, baking powder and matcha until combined.
- Divide into 12 balls and place on baking sheets lived with parchment.
- Flatten the cookie down with a glass (use glass that is a little smaller than the cookie so it’s a bit indented in the middle)
- Bake for 10-13 min - check the cookies as times may vary based on the oven.
- Once the cookies are cool spread with frosting
