Marc St Raymond

Dalgona - so hot right now - dalgona. And with the Magic Bullet it's super easy to make!  Extra bonus, this recipe is fully plant based (no egg whites required).

The Magic Bullet™ blender is one of the quickest and easiest ways to prepare matcha...not just in a smoothie but also in tea and lattes as well!  Check out our Matcha Magic series with even more Magic Bullet recipes here.

"A decadent sweet treat, the dalgona matcha is equally fun to make. There's a few variations out there on how to get a nice frothy whip, but this is by far the easiest I've found thanks to the Magic Bullet.

Important Note: The brand of coconut milk/cream really makes a difference here! I had success with Thai Kitchen."

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp Matcha
  • 6oz Canned Coconut Milk or Cream (about half a can)
  • 1 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 6oz Oat Milk (divided)
  • Ice

Instructions:

Refrigerate the can of coconut milk/cream the night before so it solidifies. Then scoop about half the can into your bullet, and add a generous splash of oat milk to provide some blending liquid. Lastly add the matcha and sugar on top.  Blend for a good 30 seconds until the mixture whips up (you may need to add more oat milk if it does not blend at first).

Fill a glass with ice and the remaining oat milk, top with your matcha whip, then enjoy!
