Ingredients
Makes 1 cocktail
- 1 tsp of Barista Edition Matcha
- 1 1/2 - 2 oz of gin
- 1 tbs grenadine
- 1/2 oz of yuzu juice or fresh lime juice
- 1 pinch of julienned Shiso Leaf (I found some at my local Asian Market, if you aren't able to get your hands on some, julienned fresh mint will do)
- Cucumber soda (here are some great options I've tried: option 1 or option 2)
- Eyeball gummies
Additional tools you'll need:
- Cocktail shaker (or mason jar)
- Cocktail strainer
Steps
- Add a scoop of ice into your cocktail shaker along with the gin, shiso leaf (or mint), grenadine, and yuzu or lime juice
- Shake for 10-15 seconds
- Strain the cocktail into your glass, add ice and eyeball gummies
- Pour 2-4 oz of cucumber soda into your glass. Leave room near the top of your glass for your matcha shot.
- Make your matcha shot! Add 2 oz of water and Barista Edition Matcha into a small mason jar and shake until frothy
- Top off your cocktail with your matcha shot
- Pinkies up & enjoy!
