    Simple & Easy Matcha Smoothie

In a perfect world, things would be simple and easy... life, relationships, work. But we all know that isn't always the case. However... it is the case for this simple and easy #jadeleafmatcha smoothie recipe. Smoothies are my go to when I'm crunched for time and need a quick (and nutrient-dense) meal substitution. These three ingredients are so delicious together, it'll feel like there's a smoothie parTEA in your mouth.

    Simple & Easy Matcha Smoothie

    (Serves 1)
    • 1 tsp Jade Leaf Matcha
    • 1 frozen banana
    • 1 cup coconut milk
    • (optional) 1 tbsp almond butter
    • Blend all ingredients together in a blender and enjoy! Happy sipping!

    About our Supplement Grade Matcha:

Our family-run partner farms in Japan have carefully crafted this grade of matcha for extra potency of beneficial green tea nutrients. Tea polyphenols known as catechins impart a bolder flavor profile, making this matcha grade best suited as a smoothie booster.

Matcha, Greens, & Almond Butter Smoothie

    Recipe Credit: @sapiditybysanz

A couple weeks ago we shared this gorgeous photo from @sapiditybysanz ...and I can't help but share her recipe that goes with it.

She discovered what I had found myself when experimenting with smoothie recipes—matcha and almond butter work incredibly well together! The richness of the almond butter mellows out the matcha's bitter notes.

Add some greens and coconut to the mix and you've got a tasty, satisfying, energizing treat! Check it out:

    • 1.5 cups of milk (I recommend almond or coconut!)
    • Handful of kale
    • Handful of spinach
    • 1 tsp matcha (culinary grade)
    • 1 heaping Tbsp almond butter
    • Handful of shredded coconut

    1. Blend all ingredients on high in your blender until smooth.
    2. Optionally top with shredded coconut.

Killer start to your morning or great mid-afternoon pick me up!
